Questions
What are credits?
Credits pay for everything you make on MakeMidas: pet portraits, images and videos. Each model shows its price in credits on the Generate button before you start.
How many credits does one image or video take?
It depends on the model, resolution, length and how many you make. Subscribers pay less on Seedream, GPT and MiniMax models. If a generation fails, its credits are returned. Credit costs can change over time as AI model providers change their prices; the cost is always shown before you generate.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. Every signed-in account gets free credits each day; they reset at midnight UTC. Images made with them carry a watermark, and some models need a plan or a credit pack.
Do credits expire?
Free daily credits expire at midnight UTC. Plan credits are granted each month, on yearly plans too, and expire at the end of that month. Credit pack credits last 6 months. The credits that expire first are used first.
Can I cancel or change my plan?
You can cancel renewal any time from Billing in your settings; your plan and credits stay until the period ends. To change plans, cancel and subscribe to the new plan after the period ends.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds follow our refund policy. Billing errors, such as being charged twice, are always fixed. If a credit pack is refunded, its remaining credits are removed.
Can I use what I make commercially?
Yes, on a paid plan or with bought credits. Images made with free credits are for personal use.
