You may trust us with personal pictures of yourself, your family or your pets. This page explains how we keep them and what you make safe.

Your pictures and results stay private

• Uploaded pictures and the images and videos you make are stored privately. They are never shown on the site or to other visitors.
• Your prompts and pictures are only used to make what you asked for.
• We don't sell them or use them to train AI models.

Uploads are deleted within 48 hours

Uploaded pictures are kept only while you generate, then deleted automatically within 48 hours. The images and videos you make stay in your history so you can download them.

Only people with your order link can open a portrait order

Pet portrait orders bought before plans and credits use a long random link. Anyone who has that link can open the order and download your portraits, so keep it private, like a password. We only store a scrambled version (a hash) of it, so the link can't be read back from our database. If you save an order to your account, you can also reach it by signing in.

How we protect your data

Encrypted in transit and at rest

All traffic to MakeMidas uses HTTPS. Your pictures, results, and account data are stored on Cloudflare, which encrypts them at rest.

How images and videos are made

To generate, your prompt and pictures are sent through OpenRouter, a service that connects to AI models from several providers, to the provider of the model you chose. They process them to return the result, under their own terms; the Privacy Policy lists them. MakeMidas does not use your prompts, pictures or results to train AI models.

Payments are handled by Stripe

Checkout happens on Stripe's secure payment page. We never see or store your card number.

Account protection

Sign-in and sign-up are protected against automated abuse with rate limits and, where enabled, human verification by Cloudflare Turnstile. You can also sign in with Google.

Deleting your data

To delete your account, or anything else we hold about you, contact us from the email address you use with MakeMidas.

Reporting a security issue

If you think you've found a security problem, please contact us with the details. We'll reply by email and keep you updated while we look into it.
